Tips would be to go on weekdays (where it’s not as crowded) but it’ll still be crowded. Overall I’m rating the room a 3/5, and the amenities a 5/5. It took 5 minutes to heat up and the pressure was awful. The shower was horrible, the water heater didn’t work properly. The main problem with these rooms was the water pressure. But atleast the rooms here were spotless. However the rooms are pretty worn and outdated. The Rooms have a balcony which is pretty nice. The only charger for computers would be the desk. But you’re out of luck if you want to charge your laptop in bed. They have a decent amount of space, however the rooms are quite outdated and there are no chargers in the bed outside of the alarm clock that can charge cellphones. And there’s a decent arcade, mini bowling (Which I didn’t do), and other stuff that’s pretty cool too. This hotel also offers additional activities, children’s shows appear to happen everyday in the lobby. So you’ll need to get used to that during the stay. You cannot take it off even if you’re in one of the rooms. However the food is incredibly expensive, so you might want to eat at an off-site restaurant (A Burger, Fries, and Drink are $16) You also have to wear a wristband the entire time you’re at this resort or it’s premises. Towels are provided and so are life jackets, and a good amount too. ![]() The Waterpark is maintained beautifully, I saw no major issues with it during the stay. Beware this place is busy even on weekdays, the “lap swimming” area is absolutely packed so be a bit careful if you actually want to swim. The best slide is the blue one up those stairs. Good amount of slides and plenty of activities to entertain kids and adults. The Waterpark was great, which is what this hotel is mostly marketed towards. First impression was great, very nice and well kept from the outside. Great Wolf Lodge, my first time staying here. Unfortunately this is enough to prevent us from returning to your location but I would hate to see other kids come home with bacterial infections, and hope this is resolved.… I encourage you to do better when maintaining your water park and chemical levels so this doesn’t happen in the future. We’ve been to the Poconos location and have also been to Kalahari numerous times and have never had this happen. I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted. However I took my baby to urgent care that night and the doctor told us that she has a bacterial skin infection that was most likely picked up at the water park due to there not being enough chemicals to kill the bacteria in the water. I was initially worried that maybe they picked up an illness which is to be expected at a place surrounded by children. By the next morning they were all over her abdomen and also popping up on my 3 year old. While driving home after checkout, we noticed some red bumps on my baby’s skin. We spent quite a bit of money between food, arcade, build a bear, etc. Everything at the hotel seemed pleasant- we were a little disappointed with how small the water park was compared to Poconos but with a lower rate, we were ultimately okay with it. We’ve never been to the Sandusky location but have been to Poconos. My family and I drove there from NY and stayed 4/27-4/28.
